Hi again! There is some working parties coming up for Common Wood! If you are interested in going along and helping please meet at the main gate on Common Wood Lane at 10.00am where you will head to working point. The dates are as follows:
Sunday 3rd January 2010, Saturday 6th February 2010, Sunday 7th February 2010 and Saturday 6th March 2010.

Hi Guys!!
May I firstly take this opportunity of wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
Can I ask that we all ensure that we display are member badges when riding in Common Wood as we have been approached by the 'Wood Wardens' about this. Also can you all please stick to the horse routes as we have had complaints of horses been ridden over some of the footpaths! Thanks guys and heres to some great hacking in the coming year!

Oh my god!! Is it really that long since I last updated the website? Sorry about that guys busy busy busy!! Anyway I thought I should let you all know about the PABA BBQ. Sunday 30th August at Gravelly Way Stables. Family and friends are welcome. Ticket prices are £5 per couple or £10 per family. I just want to say a big thank you to those of you who helped yesterday with the clearance on the bridleway on the golf course! Thank you very much and it was good to see you there even if we were a bit thin on the ground - no pun intended! Katie x

Hi Guys! More bad news I am afraid. A yard off Hammersley Lane has had it's jump wings and poles stolen. This has been reported to the police. Please keep a look out people and if you are offered some 'cheap' jumps please let the police know. Katie x

The entry forms for the PABA Windsor Ride are going out this week. It's on the 17th May 2009. If you don't get one please contact Ruth Bunce who will be able to forward them on to you. I look forward to seeing you all there.
Can I also take this opportunity of reminding you all about your renewal for your membership. Don't forget to do it!!! The more members we have the more clout we have with the local councils!!

Hi Guys! Another quick warning! A yard along Hammersley Lane has had certain items stolen. It would appear feed has gone and even hay has been taken. Thought I had better let you all know!
On a happier note Katie Rendell has booked the Windsor Ride - details for which will follow. I have listed the information on the events page that I know at the moment. As soon as I have anymore information I will pass it on. Look forward to seeing you all there.

Hello again - more bad news I am afraid! Another horse has been found with a plait in her mane at the stables near Common Wood. Once again the police has been informed. Vigilence is of great importance now people. BE AWARE!

Hi again - just a quick update and not a very nice one either!
We have had an incident today where a pony was found with a small plait in its mane, which as some of you are aware is a sign that the horse has been tagged for theft. The pony was stabled along Hammersley Lane in Penn. The incident has been reported to the police who have been very co-operative. Please be vigilent out there and keep an eye out for any suspicious activities. Not good news I know but I thought I should let you all know.
On a more happier note I would like to take this opportunity to thank Lottie who came with me today armed with a spade and a bucket of hardcore to attack the rabbit hole on the path towards Derehams Farm (near the sports and social club car park). We think we have filled it in but if anyone notices that the rabbits have moved in again please let me know.
